Maintaining a healthy diet and a slim figure can pose challenges for many individuals. However, these challenges become even more difficult for potbelly pigs.
Sweet Acres is dedicated to offering balanced diets to keep the pigs happy and healthy. This requires measured amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables along with a nutrient-based, low-sugar feed that is specifically created for PBPs.
If you would like to donate fresh food such as melon, lettuce, cucumbers or berries, we would be happy to receive them. If wishing to purchase a bag of feed, the pigs would be over the moon about that! We order our pellets from Copetown Feed Mill. They do an awesome job of creating feed that is healthy and vegan, free of preservatives, salts, sugars and animal bi-products. Supplies for pen maintenance and cleaning
We may be a small sanctuary, but we have big needs and are thankful for all who help in keeping it safe, sound, and clean. URGENT PLEA 1: We are currently in urgent need of having holes dug for Pebbles’ new pen. We have the posts but are hoping that someone is able to bring a post-hole digger (auger) to quickly get half a dozen holes made for us.
